Guilty Pleasure

Gulity Pleasures

Why do we torture ourselves for fashion, we will buy it anyway no matter what.

Should I or shouldn’t I, a major problem in my world, not very serious one in the grand scheme of things, which must be solved by Saturday. (my self inflicted deadline)

The problem a Chanel bag with a £2k price tag, a beautiful bag that that will torture my soul until it is mine…

Here is a selection of my wild irrational ramblings said whilst trying to justify and talk myself out of it, all at the same time.

I have spent the last few nights “doing the maths” what will have to be sacrificed for the bag; food etc, anyone who knows me would say that is all irrelevant as I will eat cereal everyday and not even notice.

Will I still have enough money to spend on the Christmas holiday in Peru, a place where it would be very rude to use the bag as it could feed a lot of families for a long time? My thoughts not theirs as that is western idea dreamt up to make ourselves feel better, nobody appreciates something pretty more than a Peruvian.

Guilt!! Why, what difference is a bag going to make to the economy? Not a lot but it will my contribution to retail sales.

Last night I was planning my travelling outfit for Peru and low and behold there it was “the bag” on my arm, was destiny calling I think so……………
