Do I save or spend?

After first seeing the Isabel Marant blue court shoes awhile ago I decided I needed to channel a little of the left bank chic. I also knew that blue courts probably had a very limited life in my wardrobe so set about looking for alternatives. I found two, one from Carvela and the other topshop (pictured)

Had to buy

After a few days of "thinking" today I hit Selfridges website and finally bought the Marc by Marc Jacobs Jane on Chain bag in Camel.Just the right size to wear across the body and in the right colour to team with all other items. It also has a hidden secret, there is no need to carry a purse as it has an inbuilt card holder. Genius at £220.

Dear Diary 17th March

I was in need of a little prettiness today even though it had to be matched with the old faithful staple of black opaques. Topped with a black jacket (yes it was the Acne black linen one) the Matthew Williamson shift worked well.

Dont you just love.....

How cute is this jacket, its from Sandro and surely a summer hit

Have you seen these vertinguous Lanvin wedges, they are beautiful and challenging all at the same time

I saw these shoes in Flannels Manchester and may return for them..............

Dear Diary 16th March

Hello, a dreary day in Manchester calls for a lot of cheer in the form of another lovely outfit. Today is was a pair of black Acne shorts (black opaques needed), a sheer white Acne shirt, my faithfull black Acne linen jacket and Malene Birger ankle boots.
The sheer shirt needed a careful choice of underwear, we dont want to look tarty do we!!!

Dear Diary

Today is the 15th March and I will now share my daily wardrobes triumphs and dramas with someone or something (or anyone willing to listen)

What do we wear when the weather is telling us its still winter and the shops are telling us something very different. I can't keep clothes locked away for months.New clothes are for enjoying!!!

Todays's outfit is black Acne skinny jeans, fuschia Acne t-shirt, black linen Acne blazer and Malene Birger ankle boots.

All of the Acne items where bought in my favourite Manchester haunt Flannels. For all of you who live in the area and haven't yet paid it a visit you are missing a treat. Not only do they have a cool new space in Spinningfileld but they also have very cool brands as well as the super brands. Its good for a small treat and a huge splurge!!
The boots are autumn/winter Malene Biger and bought in the Marylebone, London boutique, a truly pretty space.

This week I am LOVING top shop 7/8 skinny jeans, already bought 2 pairs, at only £38 a pair a bargain. For those of us who are "petite" they are ankle length and a great alternative tothe  J Brand Gigi.
